After a rewarding career in Investment Management Operations, I transitioned to real estate by joining Premiere Property Group, where I had the privilege of being mentored by one of the brokerage’s top producers - my wonderful sister, Adriana Gavozdea. This mentorship allowed me to gain valuable experience in handling a wide range of real estate transactions, from straightforward first-time purchases to more complex investments. Whether working with first-time buyers or seasoned investors, I have built a strong track record of navigating high-stakes transactions with a calm, professional approach, ensuring a smooth process for my clients every step of the way. As a licensed Realtor, I’m dedicated to continuous learning and staying on top of the latest trends in sales, marketing, and negotiation strategies to best serve my clients. Outside of real estate, I live in the beautiful Southwest and love discovering new restaurants with my wonderful partner, Janmeja, and my amazing friends. When I’m not enjoying good food, you’ll likely find me practicing archery at Washington Park, exploring new hobbies like painting and sewing, or playing fetch with my beloved German Shepherd mix, Odin, in our backyard.
My background
I was born in Romania, and after nine years of perseverance by my parents, our family was granted approval to move to the United States in 2002. With determination and a bit of luck, my parents sold everything, packed what little they could, and bought tickets to Portland, Oregon. It wasn't until I was on my first-ever flight, embarking on what felt like an endless journey, that I truly realized we were moving. Though it was both daunting and unfamiliar, Portland quickly became our new home, and decades later, it remains the place where I feel most connected to. Like many other people my age, I spent most of my early life living in small apartments. When I moved out for college, I continued renting, moving frequently in an effort to manage rising rent costs. However, the cycle of moving was not only costly but also draining. It wasn’t until I moved into a house with my family that I truly appreciated the stability and peace that a home can offer. My dog, Odin, now enjoys the freedom of our backyard, and my cat, Ollie, finds joy climbing the trees outside. For me, having the space to remodel and personalize my home without the constant worry of moving or losing a deposit has been transformative. Owning a home has provided my family and I with a sense of stability and freedom that renting never could. This experience has given me a deeper understanding of how a home can truly become a sanctuary.

I hold a degree in Psychology from Oregon State University, where I began my career working in youth crisis psychiatric care. As part of a dedicated team, I helped create a safe and nurturing environment for young people to recover and stabilize from mental health crises. This role not only allowed me to offer support and guidance during difficult times but also taught me key skills like empathy, patience, and active listening—qualities that remain central to my professional approach today. I believe in meeting people where they are and helping them achieve their goals, a philosophy that continues to inspire my work in real estate. After several years of working with youth, I pursued further education, earning a degree in Finance from Portland State University.
